100% invisible hearing aids

WOW! Invisible Hearing is an extended-wear hearing device. This means you are able to wear the device through all your daily activities…from sleeping to talking on the phone, from exercising to showering and from watching TV to attending a meeting or gathering. WOW! fits comfortably within your ear canal so that it is completely invisible. There are no batteries to change and no daily maintenance required.WOW! Invisible Hearing is designed to automatically adjust the volume based on the situation. However, WOW! Invisible Hearing also comes with a WOW! Connect™ keychain which allows you to manually adjust the volume settings. Most patients do not have the need to make changes to the volume regularly. They simply set it and forget about it.
Wow! Invisible Hearing was built around three key concepts that hearing professionals have known for years:
  •          Sound quality improves with proximity to the eardrum
  •     Many people with hearing loss are dissatisfied with their hearing aid options
  •     Consumers desire a hassle-free, invisible solution
Most hearing aids are visible, you can see a small tube or part of the hearing device in the opening of the ear canal.  Because Wow! Invisible Hearing is placed deep inside the ear canal, it is 100% invisible.  People cannot see Wow! Invisible Hearing in your ear, and you can talk on the phone normally because nothing is outside the ear to interfere with a phone or headset.  The invisibility that Wow! Invisible Hearing provides also helps you forget you are wearing a hearing aid

The hearing aids

A Hearing Aids   is an electroacoustic device which typically fits in or behind the wearer's ear, and is designed to amplify and modulate sound for the wearer. Earlier devices, known as an "ear trumpet" or "ear horn", were passive funnel-like amplification cones designed to gather sound energy and direct it into the ear canal. Similar devices include the bone anchored hearing aid, and cochlear implant.
There are many types of hearing aids (also known as hearing instruments), which vary in size, power and circuitry. Among the different sizes and models are:
  • Body worn aids;
  • Behind the ear aids (BTE);
  • In the ear aids (ITE);
  • Receiver In the Canal/Ear (CRT/RIC/RITE);
  • In the canal (ITC), mini canal (MIC) and completely in the canal aids (CIC);
  • Invisible In canal hearing aids (IIC);

Smart Wheelchairs

 Smart wheelchairs are designed for a variety of user types. Some platforms are designed for users with cognitive impairments, such as dementia, where these typically apply collision-avoidance techniques to ensure that users do not accidentally select a drive command that results in a collision.

 A wheelchairs is a type of chair usually used by disabled people.In 1998, the Smart Wheelchair was awarded the Gold Award for Technology for Special Educational Needs at BETT (British Education and Teaching Technology Show). The judges described it as 'leaping beyond what was previously thought possible.

Some smart wheelchairs may be equipped with robotic manipulators, used to manipulate common household objects or grasp door handles, for example, and some may employ computer vision techniques to visually detect obstacles or landmarks to assist in navigation.
